🚆 Automated and track-specific documentation of maintenance work – mPOM at InnoTrans 2026. ➡️ From September 22 to 25, 2026, the international rail and transportation technology industry will gather at InnoTrans in Berlin. The focus will be on innovative technologies and solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.

Also on display: mPOM – Mobile Positioning of Maintenance Work.

The system was developed by us and Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group on behalf of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).

But what can mPOM do?

🟠 The system locates track-maintenance machines outdoors and in tunnels with an accuracy of up to one meter. At the same time, it automatically documents, with track-level precision, where specific work was performed.

🟠 The collected data is continuously transmitted to the SBB’s SwissTAMP system, where it can be analyzed together with data from the measurement vehicles.

🔵 The result: a reliable data foundation for efficient and proactive track maintenance planning.
