Advancing Intelligent Sensor Fusion for the Next Generation of Localization
MUSE-2 builds upon the results of the original MUSE project, in which ANavS developed the Integrated Sensor Platform (ISP) as a high-precision reference system for positioning and sensor integration.
The project focuses on advancing the software capabilities of this platform by further developing the algorithms for positioning, sensor fusion, and environmental perception. These technologies are being integrated into ANavS‘ new AI-ROX platform, bringing together previously independent components into a unified and scalable software ecosystem.
As part of MUSE-2, AI-ROX is being enhanced with advanced multi-sensor processing capabilities that enable the seamless fusion of data from GNSS, cameras, LiDAR, and inertial sensors. This results in higher positioning accuracy, increased robustness in challenging environments, and improved real-time performance. In addition, AI-ROX provides a unified framework for visualizing, processing, and analysing sensor data, simplifying system configuration, operation, and performance evaluation.
Beyond localization, MUSE-2 expands the capabilities of AI-ROX by introducing HD map generation. In addition to supporting automated and autonomous driving applications, these capabilities enable new use cases, including railway infrastructure inspection and digital asset mapping.
With MUSE-2, ANavS further strengthens its expertise in intelligent sensor fusion, high-precision localization, and HD mapping, laying the foundation for robust navigation solutions across a wide range of demanding applications.
